CARSUZAN Jean-Claude

Jean-Claude Carsuzan was born July 12th, 1938, in Bordeaux.
At age 14, encouraged by his parents and at the same time than his studies, he applies at the Fine Arts school of Bordeaux.
Admitted, with a special exemption due to his young age, he studies in several studios during six years.
From 1952 to 1960, he participates in many exhibits and Art fairs in the province.
In 1958, he fulfills 29 months of military service.

In 1961, back to civilian life, he starts teaching at the Apllied Arts School of the Gironde region in Bordeaux. The same year, he does a study trip to Brittany and discovers Pont-Aven and its region.

In 1964, Carsuzan gives up teaching in order to dedicate himself exclusively to painting. In 40 years devoted to painting, he has exhibited and collaborated with prestigious galleries worldwide.
In fact, from the start of his career, the painter has never ceased to exhibit in France and abroad.

Nowadays, Carsuzan pieces have found an international public and have been received with success in Germany, Switzerland, Taiwan, the Middle Est, the United States and Japan where his talent has been acclaimed for over 20 years.

In France, Jean-Claude Carsuzan has participated in several Art fairs in province as well as in Paris: The Fall fair, the French Artists Fair, the National Fine Arts fair, Salon comparaison...
