SURIN was born in 1946 in the Ardennes region.
He strengthened his passion for painting by studying at the Fine Arts school.
His work is both viril and tender, subtle and energetic at the same time.
The painter, inspired by atmospheres, scents and colors, sculpts the paintings with his palette knife, in order to bring to his work light and matter and give back its natural beauty to nature.
Surin is an exceptional landscape painter who is inspired by themes such as the Brittany coast, Paris in the fall, the Provence countryside or Morocco, all of them overflowing with movement and luminosity.
His canvases, whose texture seem sculpted in matter, combine Classical workmanship and the impetuosity of Abstract Art.
Surin is shown across the country as well as internationally.
