What an unconventional career path!
After a few years spent as a dental surgeon, Brigitte Teman decided to devote herself entirely to her Art and passion: sculpture.
Ever since she was a little girl, a passion for modeling haunted her, but a strict education forced her into a more conventional path. However, for our greatest delight, passion won over!
In order to perfect her technique, she attended several workshops under the leadership of masters with very diverse styles.
She made several nudes, starting with a classical style moving on to more stylized works. At the same time, she developped her very own style in "high and bas -relief" with wildlife themes.
Her favourite medium is bronze but she also uses composite materials made out of bronze powder.She works with renowned founderies such as La Plaine, Chapon and Landowski.
Her priority is to give a soul to her subjects always trying to express feelings of serenity, tenderness and softness.
Since 2005, she signed an exclusivity contract with the Marciano galleries.
