Vanni Saltarelli was born in Fino Mornasco, Lombardy in 1944.
In 1965, he obtains his degree from the Art school of Milan.
From 1967 on, he held exhibits throughout Italy, France, Germany, Holland, Switzerland, Canada and the USA.
Salterelli treats the female nude with poetry and imagination. His figures are moving in a sort of animated sequence that reveal the different steps of movement. His female bodies unveil their nudity with great modesty.
The choice of colors respond to the degree of passion the Artist intends to convey, sometimes through soft and warm tones and other times in vibrant reds. His way of depicting the female nude is definetely innovating.
